It’s a pleasure to welcome Portuguese psychologist Francisco Valente Gonçalves to the #ffawtw Q&A today, co-founder at rumo who specialise in “serviços online de psicologia exclusivos para emigrantes” (google translate)
He follows OurNet Founder and CEO, Michael Brodie, in this our occasional mini-questionnaire featuring everyday, inspiring and interesting people, in and around our community.
OurNet: Thank you for taking part in the #ffawtw interview Francisco, what’s your big passion?
Francisco: Making the world a better place, specially for people with less opportunities.
OurNet: What would a ‘world that works’ look like to you?
Francisco: Balanced between people with different opinions and also in a financial viewpoint. A world where respect is more important than power. Where arrogance can be switched by proud and where being humble is not seen as being weak 🙂
OurNet: What is stopping us from creating a ‘beautiful world we all know in our hearts is possible’?
Francisco: Personally speaking, I believe the need to empower the self exclusively instead of making others shine. It’s like a theatre. If a play (exception of a monologue) with two roles has only one shining, it’s gonna be a bad play. You’ll need to make the other shine. You’ll shine more if you do that.
